A kitchen renovation where entertaining guests was key. The typical separate 1980’s style kitchen/dining room was transformed into one space to create room to gather. Bold, artistic choices create a conversation. A local glass artist created an eye popping piece that is backlit for display. Colourful green and rust prima stone onyx backsplash flows through the kitchen. Mesmerizing emerald tile with depth highlights the breakfast bar and compliments the walnut cabinetry. In addition to the eye-popping colour other entertaining features that were a must are the copper trough sink for ice and beverages and the Wolf Sub-Zero appliances. The old pantry closet was transformed into what has turned out to be our clients favourite feature - a breakfast bar. This kitchen renovation has created ample room for entertaining guests and functionality is achieved for both daily living and entertaining.
